My World III: Recipe

ROCKY ROAD

Ingredients

-75g of butter

-75g of marshmallows

-175g of chocolate

-135g of cookies

-Icing sugar

-Two spoons of honey

Preparation

1. In a pan, put the butter, the chocolate and the honey; and mix it.

2. Crush the cookies with a rolling pin and add it in the pan. Then, add the marshmallows and mix all.

3. Put the mixture in a mould and place it in the fridge about 2 hours.

4. To serve, put the icing sugar into the rocky road.

Palau Robert Exhibition Picture

This photo shows a mother with two boys running after they cross the border. It’s very expressive, powerful and sensitive. When I see it I feel sad because I know there are more people that have to leave his country due to the troubles.

In the background of the picture there is a fence that separate Serbia of Hungary. The field is with bad grass. In the foreground there are three persons (a mother with two children) running. The photo is very spontaneous.

Yes, of course.

·Where are you from?
I'm from Switzerland.

·Is it the first time that you are in Spain?
No, it's the second time.

·And why are you here?
Why not? for holidays, not business.

·Do you know any words in Catalan or Spanish?
No, only Barcelona, Catalonia; sorry.

·Do you see any differences with your country?
Yes, of course: the language; the port, we don't have port in Switzerland, we don't have sea; there are too much lights here and a lot of people, even we have a lot of people now in Switzerland. We have a lot of mountains, a lot of snow.

·And the last one, do you think Barcelona is expensive?
For me not because Switzerland is quite expensive so, I'm used to.

My World II: Books

My Life Between Books

Well, I’ve to say that at my 5 or 6 years old I hated read because I thought that read is a waste of time. Now, my opinion changed, I think read is the best way to understand yourself because everyone have her imagination, different from the others.

 

My family not read much, they prefer movies.

My passion for books started when I got to the high school. I was hooked on the Saga After because, in that time, my favorite genre was romance. These days, I found others genres of books. Like reality or science fiction and fantasy. But my favorite genre right now is dystopia, the dystopias shows a bad perception of the future; like The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, Divergent, The 100 or Delirium.

I prefer books to movies because I like imagine my own characters, the situation or the environment. And I don’t say that I don’t like movies or series, quite the opposite.

My World I: AHS

American Horror Story or AHS is a paranormal series. I will talk about the first season because is the only one I watched. My best friend recommends me this series and I think that’s connected with the second project we do in the English class.

The first season: Murder House is about a family (the Harmon’s family) that moves into a “haunted house” where all the previous owners died in it. The previous owners are like ghosts but you can see them. Violet, the daughter of the new owners, fell in love with Tate. Tate’s a ghost that killed a lot of people. One day, Violet was sad and she taked a lot of pills. Tate tried to save her but he can’t and Violet died. She died in the house, meaning that Violet became another ghost. What’s more, the mother of Violet, Vivien, was rape by Tate and she remained pregnant with a diabolical baby: half human, half ghost.

All the season it’s very complicate to understand, but it’s interesting. I think I will watch more seasons. Every season talk about another paranormal story, completely different of the others.
