What will happen if there is not the moon?

You can think that the moon has nothing to do with Earth, but you're wrong.

One of the things that will change are the night: the lunar phases will not exist meaning the nights will be darker.

In art, if there isn't moon, a lot of paints, poetry and plays will not exist and the literature will be different.

Will be changes in tides too and that is dangerous because the weather will change radically in all the Earth.

What is more, changes in axis of rotation of the Earth: if the moon doesn't exist, the rotation of the Earth will change between the 0 and 90 degrees. The weather will be above 100 degrees or will decrease below -80 degrees and the winds will be of up to 300 km/h.

And finally, will be changes in life: a lot of species, including humans, could even disappear.

My World II: Summer Expectations

I have to enjoy this summer because it will be the last one. The next years I will be very stressed with the research project and other things. 

Well, I want a special summer, so my friends and I decided to make a list with things that we can do. I know that kind of lists don't work but let me try.

I want to read a lot of books, like Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King (I promise Yasmina that I will read it).

I want to watch series also, I'm obsessed. I want to watch Prision Break, Breaking Bad, Once Upon a Time and more. Now, I'm watching the fourth season of Orphan Black, it's great, I recomand it. Recently, since 2 years, I have watched films and series in English and subtitled because I prefer the original version.

This summer I will sleep twenty hours at day, well, no. But I want to sleep more hours, I want to get up late and don't care.

I want to do picnics with my friends and camping, go to the beach, to the cinema, to the pool, in excursion,...

And the last thing I want to do, well, I have to do, is work.

My World I: An Amazing Movie

MEMENTO

Memento was directed by Christopher Nolan and was published in the year 2000, was nominated to two Oscars and a Golden Globe. Guy Pearce play as Leonard.

Leonard can't build new memories, so he forgets everything that happens day to day. The last thing he remembers is the murder of his wife. He wants to take revenge on the murderer. He writes himself notes, takes photos and he gets tattos to remember things about the killer. 
The film goes back in time to confuse us until we know about Sammy Jankis, a man who believed had the same condition as Leonard. What Leo didn't know is that he has a lot in common with him.

The movie is very complicated to understand because is very confusing but it's very interesting and curious.

My World III: Recipe

ROCKY ROAD

Ingredients

-75g of butter

-75g of marshmallows

-175g of chocolate

-135g of cookies

-Icing sugar

-Two spoons of honey

Preparation

1. In a pan, put the butter, the chocolate and the honey; and mix it.

2. Crush the cookies with a rolling pin and add it in the pan. Then, add the marshmallows and mix all.

3. Put the mixture in a mould and place it in the fridge about 2 hours.

4. To serve, put the icing sugar into the rocky road.

My Life Between Books

Well, I’ve to say that at my 5 or 6 years old I hated read because I thought that read is a waste of time. Now, my opinion changed, I think read is the best way to understand yourself because everyone have her imagination, different from the others.

 

My family not read much, they prefer movies.

My passion for books started when I got to the high school. I was hooked on the Saga After because, in that time, my favorite genre was romance. These days, I found others genres of books. Like reality or science fiction and fantasy. But my favorite genre right now is dystopia, the dystopias shows a bad perception of the future; like The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, Divergent, The 100 or Delirium.

I prefer books to movies because I like imagine my own characters, the situation or the environment. And I don’t say that I don’t like movies or series, quite the opposite.

My World I: AHS

American Horror Story or AHS is a paranormal series. I will talk about the first season because is the only one I watched. My best friend recommends me this series and I think that’s connected with the second project we do in the English class.

The first season: Murder House is about a family (the Harmon’s family) that moves into a “haunted house” where all the previous owners died in it. The previous owners are like ghosts but you can see them. Violet, the daughter of the new owners, fell in love with Tate. Tate’s a ghost that killed a lot of people. One day, Violet was sad and she taked a lot of pills. Tate tried to save her but he can’t and Violet died. She died in the house, meaning that Violet became another ghost. What’s more, the mother of Violet, Vivien, was rape by Tate and she remained pregnant with a diabolical baby: half human, half ghost.

All the season it’s very complicate to understand, but it’s interesting. I think I will watch more seasons. Every season talk about another paranormal story, completely different of the others.

My World III

I WROTE A STORY!

One of the things that I like do is write short stories, about everything. This one I had wrote for Spanish Class but now I translated in english. I hope you enjoy!

In 1899 we learned to dominate the darkness, but not the heat of Texas. We woke up at night, hours before sunrise, when barely was a indigo stain in the eastern sky and the rest of the horizon follow black as coal. Turned on the candles of the large corridor and we left to the big garden.

Mike and me, lay down in the grass on a blue blanket and we looked at the shine stars that was still in the sky. Remembering every hard moment of the 24th of July of the past year. Yes, it passed one year of the dead of my young husband, Arthur Ross. He only was 35 when he died, one day hot and suffocating like this.

Mike, at 7 years old, cried a lot by loss of his dad. So disconsolately that I only heard his moan. What's more, me -Elizabeth Ross-, I didn't cry. I was just analyzing the tiny stars of the sky and hugged my sweet son.

That day, Arthur and I had a birthday of 15th years of marry. I miss him a lot, I still lend him one gap in the bed. His gap: the left of the bed, for protect me.

We felt a lot his absence... above everything Mike, that every night come to awoke me, because he said that he can not sleep. I didn't know how to follow forwards. Every day I asked me what he would have done in my place, but I didn't know the answer. Arthur was an unpredictable and brave man. I am not brave. Every day I thought that I will quit, until Mike looked my eyes and said me "Dad will stay whenever in our heart. I don't like see you like this, mom."

In that moment I realized that Mike was Arthur, but in other body, in Mike. I felt very proud of my little hero.

DYLAN O'BRIEN

Dylan O'Brien is an american actor borned in New York. He's actually 24 and he is in a relationship with Britt Robertson. They met in the film "The First Time".
When he was 12, began to upload comedy videos at You Tube until he entered in the world of cinema.
Dylan played as Stiles Stilinski in Teen Wolf (2011-actually), my favourite serie at now. Is about a boy, Tyler Posey, that was bitten by a werewolf. Tyler Posey is his best friend since 2011.

THE HUNGER GAMES

The Hunger Games is a novel written by Suzanne Collins. Consist in a trilogy of books: The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay. The last is divided in two parts.
Is about a girl, Katniss Everdeen, who offered herself voluntary for the 74’ Hunger Games instead of her sister Prim.
The Hunger Games is an event celebrated every year in Panem that consist in a fight to the death of a boy and a girl of each district (in total, 13 districts) while they are observed by The National Television.
In this event only one can win, the rest have to die, but Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark win the 74’ Hunger Games because her love. They belong to the District 12.
The Capitol tries to get rid of Katniss in an especial edition for the 75’ Hunger Games, where she and Peeta have to compete again with the winners of the other districts. Finally start a war where Katniss and the districts reveal against the Capitol.

The Hunger Games is the best film I saw, as The Maze Runner and Divergent. You can see that I love the dystopias. I think reality outpace the science fiction and I'm scared for that. If will happen I don't know what I will had to do.
Talking about cinematography, the second part of Mockingjay will release this 27th of November in Spain. I can't wait!
